Commercial product collaboration
At Home × SCADpro Wall Mirror
A retail-launched decorative wall mirror developed through the SCADpro collaboration with At Home, translating an irregular wooden frame language into a market-facing home product.
Proof of applied practice
A design-school collaboration translated into a real retail object.
The project is included here as a commercial proof point within the Built by Zhen archive. It shows work moving beyond concept-only presentation into a partner-facing, market-facing product context.
From studio development to a purchasable home object.
The mirror was developed within the At Home × SCADpro collaboration and later appeared as an official At Home product listing. The collaboration paired product design, branding, presentation, and retail communication around a decorative home object.
For Built by Zhen, the case study matters because it demonstrates experience with client-facing development, visual refinement, object detailing, and the translation of design intent into a commercial product page.
Design translation
A recognizable mirror with a less conventional perimeter.
The object uses an irregular wooden frame, faceted perimeter rhythm, and gold accent lines to create a decorative mirror that feels expressive without relying on a conventional circular or rectangular outline.
Its retail context required the product to communicate quickly: clearly a mirror, distinctive as a wall accent, and compatible with domestic interiors.
