Context

Engineering work where clarity, consistency, and revision control matter.

At Schneider Electric, my work focused on the structured CAD and documentation layer that supports electromechanical product development. The role required accurate component information, disciplined drawing production, and clear technical communication across repeatable engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

Four areas that shaped the engineering practice.

01

Component libraries

Developed and maintained structured CAD assets for electrical and electromechanical components, supporting consistent reuse across engineering documentation.

02

Electrical enclosure workflows

Supported enclosure-system documentation and product-development tasks where component placement, cabinet logic, and technical coordination had to remain legible across revisions.

03

High-volume drawings

Produced and reviewed more than 1,500 technical drawings and related documents, building speed without sacrificing structure, accuracy, or naming discipline.

04

Engineering communication

Translated product and assembly requirements into CAD assets and documentation that could be understood, checked, revised, and used across teams.

Professional foundation

Engineering discipline behind the practice.

The Schneider Electric experience forms the professional engineering anchor behind Built by Zhen. The same emphasis on structure, revision discipline, and buildable product logic continues in the public work.

Confidentiality note

Internal engineering drawings, databases, customer information, unreleased product details, and internal software screens are not reproduced. The badge photograph is included only as a personal documentary artifact.

Built by Zhen

Engineering discipline becomes most useful when it strengthens the design decisions people can see and the product systems they can use.
